My first experiences in the coffee sector were during my PhD at CIAT in Cali/Colombia. There, I wrote my dissertation on "Implications of Quality-Based Agri-Food Supply Chains on Agri-Social Systems: The Case of Smallholder Coffee Growers in South Colombia".
